When Dave Carlson contacted us about training, he took an important step toward the future direction of Berryman Transfer. As owner, Carlson has built a sterling reputation in premium local residential in the Joliet, IL area, and was looking for tools to help Berryman render the same level of service for office moves.
"Dave told me he called us because he wanted to do it the right way," said Ed Katz of the International Office Moving Institute (IOMI).
"Hopefully I helped operations appreciate how difficult it is to get business, and helped sales recognize the challenges of rendering the service," said Katz.

Service After The Sale
After their training, Berryman personnel were eager to try out the estimating formula they had just learned, but weren't sure they had figured it correctly. A call to IOMI, where Katz went over the figures with them, provided a safety net of reassurance.
"The Berryman crew are good students. They had figured it right," said Katz. "Since learning the formula meant we could talk the same language, it was easy to help them determine if their estimate was correct.
"Part of 'doing it right' means giving customers accurate estimates. Berryman is on the right track," said Katz
