MARCH 14 - 16, 2007 -Chicago-based Rightsize Facility Performance is carving out a new niche in the marketplace facility services general contracting.
Rightsize is not a moving company, or a move management or consulting company, but rather a general contractor that takes complete responsibility for all subcontractors required to perform a successful project for corporate clients in transition.
To improve performance on physical moves, the company contacted the International Office Moving Institute (IOMI) about its project management training. After three intensive days in the classroom, Rightzise earned its Certified Project Manager designation.
Armed with tools to control the relocation, including IOMIs proprietary estimating formula, Rightsize can more confidently promise their |
 |
customers moves that finish on time for the price quoted, said Ed Katz, trainer.
Now as Certified Project Managers with backgrounds in a wide variety of labor related services, Rightsize personnel handle all aspects from furniture procurement, delivery and installation to relocation services, and |
facility decommissioning activities.
Our concept has been very well received by the marketplace, by large corporate real estate portfolio holders, project management firms and end users involved in corporate transition projects, said Mason Awtry, Rightsize founder and principal.
